JGW Software Courses
Fugro-Jason offers courses in utilizing the results of a Jason Geoscience Workbench® (JGW) project, and courses for learning how to use the JGW software yourself. All asset team members can benefit from the course on interpreting the JGW results, which will help them to rapidly assimilate the data into their other work and facilitate planning for further drilling on the field. There is also a course for Managers on the importance and value of using Acoustic Impedance data in reservoir evaluation work.
Interpretation of Acoustic Impedance (AI) Data (JGW100)—This course is intended for those who want to learn how to interpret and analyze inversion results.
(Detailed Course Description)
Acoustic Impedance Short Course for Managers (JGW100m)—This is primarily an informational session to demonstrate the value of integrating the exploration process.
(Detailed Course Description)
Introduction to Fugro-Jason Reservoir Characterization Workflows and Interpretation—This course is intended for those who want to learn about the different seismic inversion workflows and how to interpret and analyze inversion results.
(Detailed Course Description)
Introduction to Acoustic Impedance Inversion (JGW101)—Students will learn the workflow and QC procedures to perform an Acoustic Impedance inversion using the JGW InverTracePlus™ software.
(Detailed Course Description)
Introduction to Simultaneous Inversion (JGW 201)—This course will teach the participants to independently run the RockTrace Simultaneous Inversion software, QC, interpret and analyze the results.
(Detailed Course Description)
Advanced upgrade course RockTrace 8.1 (JGW203)—Students will be able to make the transition to the Jason Geoscience Workbench 8.1 software suite smoothly and have an understanding of the enhanced and new (relevant) features of this version both theoretical and practical.
(Detailed Course Description)
Introduction to Geostatistical Inversion (JGW 301)—This course covers the basic theoretical concepts and software components necessary to perform geostatistical inversion in the Jason Geoscience Workbench. Since knowledge of various geostatistical principles such as multivariate distributions and variograms is necessary, pertinent introductions to these topics are included in the course lectures.
(Detailed Course Description)
Introduction to Low Frequency Modeling—This two day course is designed for JGW users who want to use EarthModel FT for the low frequency models for JGW inversions.
