Texaco New Orleans has been using Jason's seismic inversion technology since 1990. Since purchasing the initial Integrate product, we have enjoyed increased success in accurately targeting wells in new and existing fields. With the introduction of the Jason Geoscience Workbench® in 1994, we are enjoying a uniquely powerful capability for integrated seismic reservoir characterization. We believe that the Workbench provides the most comprehensive set of integrated applications and utilities currently available for 3D model generation.
In addition to powerful algorithms, the Workbench provides a very productive environment for multi-discipline work through binary data links to commercial interpretation platforms. Central to the Workbench is the EarthModel™ model builder, providing the critical link between well logs, stratigraphic and structural models, in both time and depth domains. The data model supports a broad spectrum of solutions ranging from rank wildcat exploration to mature development, all within a framework that optimally takes advantage of all applicable data. As the requirement for increased resolution becomes greater, we are confident that the Workbench will provide us with consistently high quality 3D reservoir models.
