I thank you very much for inviting me to attend Jason’s [Jason Geoscience Workbench®] JGW 101 training class. To the best of my knowledge, Jason is the only company in the world that provides excellent quality of training and free accommodations. After five days of classes, we were all beginning to say to each other “I like Jason very much.”
One of the advantages of JGW is that it gives the full transparency of the software algorithms for users to understand what is being done. Users can also change almost all the inversion options for optimal results. These steps are vital for university research, education, and publications. I am also very much impressed by the scientific approaches that Jason Houston adopted for each project—highly efficient team work from geologists, geophysicists, and petrophysicists with also strict peer-reviewed quality control. I believe that the scientific merits and technical advantages of Jason’s JGW and the project management will become recognized and followed by both the industry and the scientific communities.
Again, I am grateful for your hospitality and the opportunity to take this class and for your willingness to support our research and education at Columbia University.
