Due to continued growth and demand for our services we are seeking qualified candidates for several positions in our Stavanger based operations.

After an initial training period, your key responsibility is to undertake integrated, quantitative reservoir characterisation projects based on the Jason Geoscience Workbench® & PowerLog® technology. Depending on your experience, the scope of your involvement can range from execution of work assignments within such projects to customer training, to independently defining and managing large, integrated multidisciplinary projects. In all positions you will be involved with applying leading edge reservoir characterisation technologies both in the UK and occasionally overseas.

The Senior Geoscientist position requires substantial industry experience (minimum of 5 years) in some or all of the following fields:Reservoir Characterisation, Geological Modelling, Seismic Inversion, Geostatistical Modelling, Petrophysics, Rock Physics, Seismic & Quantitative Interpretation, 4D seismic and OBC data analysis, and Velocity Modelling.

The Geoscientist position requires a minimum of 3 years industry experience in some or all of the following fields: Reservoir Characterisation, Geological Modeling, Seismic Inversion, Seismic Processing, Geostatistical Modeling, Petrophysics, Rock Physics, Seismic & Quantitative Interpretation, 4D seismic, OBC data analysis and Velocity Modeling.

The candidate should have a knowledge of all aspects of reservoir engineering including:

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team is vital
• Strong Windows and UNIX computer skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English with good presentation skills
