Project Geoscientist

Fugro-Jason Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Geoscientist for our Perth office. The position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in applying leading edge reservoir characterisation technologies in Australia and overseas. Your key responsibilities will be to define, carry out and manage integrated, quantitative reservoir characterization and modelling projects. You will be using the Jason Geoscience Workbench® technology. As a senior geoscientist, you will have the opportunity to grow into a leadership and mentoring role to other geoscientists in the region and become involved in customer training.

The position requires a minimum of 5 years industry experience in one of the following fields: Seismic Processing, Seismic Interpretation, Quantitative Interpretation, Geological Modelling, Geostatistical Modelling. In addition, the position requires the ability to work as an integral part of a team and good communication skills to support our customers. Knowledge of Seismic Inversion and experience with the Jason Geoscience Workbench® would be very helpful to your application.
