Houston
Due to continued growth and demand for our services we are seeking Project Geoscientists and Project Petrophysicists for our Houston based operations.
After an initial training period, the key responsibility of the Project Geoscientist position is to undertake integrated, quantitative reservoir characterization projects based on the Jason Geoscience Workbench® technology. Depending on your experience, the scope of your involvement can range from execution of work assignments within such projects to customer training, to independently defining and managing large, integrated multidisciplinary projects. In all positions you will be involved with applying leading edge reservoir characterization technologies both in the US and occasionally overseas.
This position requires substantial industry experience (minimum of 5 years) in some or all of the following fields: Reservoir Characterization, Geological Modeling, Seismic Inversion, Geostatistical Modeling, Petrophysics, Rock Physics, Seismic Interpretation, QI and Velocity Modeling.
The Petrophysicist position requires a minimum of 5 years experience in conditioning logs for integration with seismic data, analysis, and interpretation of p- and s-sonic logs, fluid substitution and rock physics modeling.
After an initial training period, your key responsibility shall be to undertake integrated, quantitative reservoir characterization projects based on the Jason Geoscience Workbench technology. You will be involved mainly with reservoir characterization projects in the US and occasionally overseas. Depending on your experience and on-going development, your responsibilities will range from execution of work assignments within such projects, providing customer training, to independently defining and managing large integrated multidisciplinary projects. Since Fugro-Jason works with customers in understanding reservoirs to find hydrocarbons, regular customer interaction is required and therefore strong communication and presentation skills are a must.
These are key positions wherein you shall grow to be our country experts for tomorrow. If you are looking to advance your career by gaining broad exposure to and experience with leading edge quantitative reservoir characterization technologies, please send your resume to:
