Business Manager

Fugro-Jason is seeking a Business Manager based in Cairo, covering North Africa and Syria.

This position offers an opportunity to be involved selling and delivering leading edge reservoir characterisation solutions and software in the Middle East. Key responsibilities will be set and deliver sales objectives for your business unit, through project services and software sales. You must ensure financial growth of your unit from year to year and develop a technical team able to exceed customer expectations. You will be responsible for the management of your business unit in terms of staffing, training and financially.

The position requires a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience in some of the following fields: Seismic Reservoir Characterization, Geological Modeling, Seismic Inversion, Geostatistical Modeling, Petrophysics, Rock Physics, Seismic & Quantitative Interpretation, 4D seismic and OBC data analysis, and Velocity Modeling. Working knowledge of Fugro-Jason software (JGW) would be a major advantage and knowledge of other industry standard inversion software would be considered useful. Experience in the service industry, or as a consultant would also be advantageous. You must have proven business development experience, selling software and/or project services to the oil and gas service industry. You must also be fluent in Arabic, as well as English. Experience and contacts within the countries to be covered are of great advantage.
